5 Paid Surveys (Singapore) you should sign up today!

Making money online sounds too good to be true for some, but it’s possible!  One of the easiest way to start is to sign up as a member in survey sites that gives you points every time you complete a survey.  Once your have accumulate enough points, you can then exchange for cash (yes, cash!) or store vouchers.

It’s not an avenue to get you rich, or to quit your job, but it’s an additional way to generate some pocket money.

I have redeemed about $630+ cash/vouchers for about 4-5 years of work.  It’s not significant if we look at the number of years vs the rewards, but given that I spent less than 1 hour per week, it’s not that bad after all.  It’s a great way to convert idle moments (travelling from point to point, waiting for friends or even pooping in the toilet, etc) for some cash!

1. Rakuten Insight Surveys Singapore 

This site used to be “Rakuten AIP online Surveys”, and they had recently re-brand themselves as Rakuten Insights Surveys in July 2018.

Open to any resident in Singapore who is 16 years of age or older.

After successfully completing a survey, you will be awarded EPoints.  These EPoints can be used to redeem cash that is payable via PayPal or redeem for NTUC vouchers. Every 15 EPoints = S$1

PayPal

• Make sure that you use the same email address for both your PayPal and Rakuten Insights accounts.
• Based on my past years redemption records, PayPal payments usually happens on the 14 of each month.
• Redemption starts at $3 (which is 45 EPoints)!

NTUC Vouchers

• Redemption starts at 150 EPoints for a S$10 voucher.
• The site states that the vouchers will be sent during the 20th and last day of the following month after receiving the requests.

Note : The site used to state that EPoints will expire after 1 year from the last date you logged in to your “My Page”. However, I cannot find that clause when I am writing this post. I could have missed that.

2. Your Voice

Points will be awarded after completing surveys successfully. Points do not expire!

The points can be exchanged for E-vouchers and/or physical vouchers – there are different categories to chose from, from Amazon Gift Card to vouchers from NTUC, Popular, Watson, Robinson, Takashimaya etc.

Some of the surveys also award Prize Draw Entries, and the prize is S$1,250 – if you are lucky.

2. Milieu Surveys

Your Voice shut down in May 2019.  There was ample notice before the shutdown and we were able to redeem our available points before the shutdown.

Now on my #2 list, is Milieu Surveys.  The surveys are done via their app, and each survey does not take more than 3 mins! What’s more, redemption of rewards can be via PAYNOW – fast and secure!

3. You Gov

You have to be 16 years or older to join the panel. Points do not expire!

Minimum points required to redeem for cash/vouchers is 5000 Points. You can redeem for cash via PayPal (make sure that you use your registered PayPal email address), Mobile credit top-up (M1 or Starhub only), or even initiate a UNICEF donation!

PayPal redemption takes about 30 days for you to see the money!

4. Toluna Influencers

You will need a minimum of 10,500 points to redeem for rewards (S$5 Grab Voucher), and 40,800 points to redeem S$20 cash via PayPal. Other rewards include NTUC, CapitaMalls and Takashimaya Vouchers.

Points has an expiry date, extracted from the Help section from Toluna’s website :

“When points are credited to your account they will remain valid for 16 months. If after this period the points have not been used, they will automatically expire and be deleted from your account. Your points will not expire all at once, instead points will expire 16 months after you originally earned them”.

* Plus * – Update your Profile Surveys annually and get 100 points for each of the 12 surveys – that’s 1200 points!

5. My Survey

MySurvey Points expire 2 years from the date of last member activity (logging in, completing survey or mini poll etc).

Points can be redeemed for S$5 cash via PayPal for 600 points. Alternatively, there are various shopping vouchers to chose from.

5. LifePoints

MySurvey was combined with another survey site (Global Test Market), which was then renamed as LifePoints in May 2019.  What I like about this site is that there’s always ample number of surveys available to earn some points.

The rewards are still pretty much the same as what we used to have in MySurvey – Points can be redeemed for S$5 cash via PayPal for 600 points. Alternatively, there are various shopping vouchers (such as NTUC) to chose from.

BONUS!

6. Surveyon

This site has quick polls which you can vote to 1 point (max 3 polls daily).  Redemption of $2USD starts from 20,000 points.  It’s not difficult to accumulate the points as some surveys award 10,000 points upon completion.
